The Woodshedders deliver up the hot sounds of Acoustic Gypsy-style Swing and Olde Tyme Jazz with verve and enthusiasm. This West Virgina/Virgina based quintet consists of Dwayne Brooke ( Guitar and Vocals ), Ryan Mayo ( Upright Bass ), Chance McCoy ( Mandolin ), Stuart Orser ( Guitar ), and “Fiddly” Dave VanDeventer ( Fiddle ). The Woodshedders sound is deeply inspired by Django Reinhardt and the Quintet of the Hot Club of France, and is alive with elements of post-swing era influences such as bebop, rhythm and blues, bluegrass, and more. The repertoire becomes complete with a number of unique original songs and compositions.
