My Jazz Story
I love jazz because...it is rooted in freedom, in
being seen and in community. There’s a
conversation between the artists AND the
audience that is unbreakable. You can
acknowledge its roots and still be fully in the
moment.
My House Concert Story
In Denver Colorado @ Franks salon. I was invited the first week I was in Denver and met the jazz community. I had moved there to get my MA in jazz voice Every other week, the people and musicians made me feel welcome , loved what I brought to the table and we played music and ate and drank and were merry together. Incredible energy that I will never forget. I will driver car try Bose musicians and people in my heart.
