I love jazz because...its everywhere I was first exposed to jazz...my friend Bobby, who also taught me guitar. it all started with madlib's "shades of blue" I met [musician name]...Julian Lage The best show I ever attended was...Hiromi Uehara at the former Yoshi's in SF circa 2011-'12. this wasn't the trio project, the ticket said special guests, someone please name that personnel The first jazz record I bought was...haha, bought....Thundercat's "Drank" My advice to new listeners...type in your favorite songs followed by jazz into google and see what new takes you can find on those beloved tunes Or whatever else you have in mind. Bring Yoshis's back to SF
