About Me
Dino Massa is an active pianist composer and professor of jazz piano at the Conservatory in Naples. He played in Italy, Orsara Jazz, Antiphonae Jazz, Jazzità Rome, Jazz e non solo Jazz, Vico in Jazz, Muntagn in Jazz, Talos Jazz, in Usa at the American Jazz Museum, and throughout Europe, in Spain at Jimmy Glass Jazz Festival, in Poland at Summer Jazz Festival, in Czech Republic at Prague Jazz Festival, in France at La Casa Jazz, in Romania at International Festival Zilele Teatrului Matei Visniec, in Latvia at Jazz in Riga, in Portugal at Cascais jazz club live on Radio Antena2, and then in many jazz club in UK, Germany, Belgium, Island, Ireland, Greece, Ungheria, Latvia, Lituania, Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia.He made 12 diskes as leader, his last Cd are: Echoes of Europe ARC label (Usa), Suite pour le piano for jazz quartet Losen Records (No) and Live in Warsaw Off records (BE). He published his first novel, the thiller L’Orchestra jazz si tinge di giallo, by NullaDie editions. He collaborated with many jazz musicians, such as John Abercrombie, Marcus Hampton, Stan Kessler, Chris Burnett, Clarence Smith, Sigurdur Flosason, Tomasz Grzegorski, Marcin Slusarczyk, Kyron Bourke, Lukas Zjta, Pawel Puszczalo, Shule Jovovic, Maria Viana, Virgil Popovici, Bruno Tommaso, Maurizio Giammarco and many others.
