My Jazz Story
Jazz is a reflection of life. It is intellectually challenging, rewarding, frustrating, invigorating, fun... after years of playing music but not really studying music I embarked on a journey to pursue this form of art. In my studio I have a quote from Confucius, “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop”. This fuels me through the times when I feel like I’m not advancing, and inspires me when all is well. Jazz is a journey that never reaches an end point for any player. It just continues.
