My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz.as a teenager by listening to 78 rpm discs and going to local jazz events. As time went by I progressed to buying jazz lps and cds and have been collecting for more than 60 years. I have a leaning towards piano jazz, Waller, Morton, Garner, Tatum, Peterson, Monk to name but a few. I also like be-bop, west coast and big band jazz (both early and modern).
Throughout the years I have searched through junk shops, charity shops and anywhere that might provide a 'find'. Reading jazz books and magazines has been an ongoing part of my jazz experience. Hey, that's why I LOVE jazz.
Keep listening and enjoy the music.
