My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it's like building something sometimes very, very special with feelings, with thoughts, and with sound. Not with the "snap of a finger," no, not all at once. Jazz builds something unique, and maybe magically fleeting, piece by piece and note by note. Melody, harmonies, tensions, rhythms and tempos...all play a part. Sometimes, all at once, but sometimes, only in league with just the right combination of those carefully selected and time tested "tools of the trade."
