About Me

Danny Petroni (born 1956, Trenton, New Jersey) is an American jazz/rock/blues guitarist and composer/arranger He played bass from age eight, and played flute, before settling on guitar at age 13. He earned a bachelor's degree in Music at the Livingston College at Rutgers University where he played with Ted Dumbar, Frank Foster, and Freddie Waits, Frank Lacy, Steve Nelson. Petroni studied with Dennis Sandole of Philadelphia . Following this Petroni worked with clarinetist Tony Scott, Lurther Thomas, Bobo Shaw. He now is working with his group The Blue Project.
