About Me
My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz when my dad took me
to a Duke Ellington concert in London, and then
to hear/see Oscar Peterson, then Count Basie,
then Johny Downs Orchestra... I was hooked by
the rhythmic beat. Syncopation is visceral to me.
I listen to jazz every day, and play it when I can.
