Corey Wilkes
About Me
Corey Wilkes is one of the finest jazz trumpet players working today. His sound is sought
after by many great bands working throughout the world. Corey is also an Artist In
Residence for the Jazz Institute of Chicago. This Berklee Alum has shared the stage with
numerous jazz heavyweights including the
Art Ensemble of Chicago, Will Calhoun, Kahil El Zabar, Clark Terry, Harry 'Sweets' Edison,
Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, James Moody, Jimmy Cobb, Von Freeman and Kurt Elling.
Corey's soulful, sophisticated sound can be found on various recordings and he is
currently working on his debut as a leader.
