Woodwind performer in southeast Michigan
About Me
Started off playing with the Monroe Big Band before taking a 16-year break. Returned in 2011 to the Depot Town Big Band, where in 2015 I took over as the managing director. In addition to playing with the Ypsilanti-based big band, I sub in a variety of big bands around southeast Michigan on all saxophones, play bass clarinet in the Ann Arbor Civic band and bari sax in the Dexter Community Band. Every couple of cycles, I perform on woodwinds for various pit orchestras. In my free time between running a big band and playing in other musical groups, I'm an IT consultant specializing in developing software to aid in the coordination of technology deployments and migrations.
