About Me

Chris is the owner of PopFree Records, an indy label specializing in the promotion of eclectic music styles that lie on the fringes of the mainstream, but deserve more attention. PopFree records has a 24 track recording facility which celebrates the old-school technology with an analog console and peripherals, and a good selection of expensive vintage mikes and other gear. He studied at Berklee in the 70's, has done coutless hours of session work, and has performed as a bassist and drummer on 14 label releases over the years. PopFree records has two releases of his original work. He operates his label and studion in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
