It may be cool jazz today, hot jazz tomorrow, classical yesterday and fusion on Fridays! I have my favorites (of course) but my absolute favorite is MUSIC! I love a driving beat with a mad bassline. The more complex the tempo and the sound the better. I listen to a song and pick out the subleties, enjoying the intracacies of the the music and the musician. Music is one of my greatest loves.

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...well how could I not. Music, all music, is a part of me and my life would be very boring without that love. I was first exposed to jazz growing up and playing trombone throughout my K-12 and college years. I was blessed with many great teachers who exposed me to everything from classical to jazz and everything in between and beyond. I would LOVE to meet Marcus Miller. My advice to new listeners is to just enjoy it and don't be afraid to listen outside the box.
