My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it has a calming effect as well as the ability to excite and allow you to create your own scenario.
I was first exposed to jazz listening to Ella Fitzgerald
I met Count Basie, it was like meeting music royalty.
The best show I ever attended was Count Basie and Lionel Hampton.
The first jazz record I bought was in 1972 Sadao Watanabe.
My advice to new listeners just relax and let the music take your mind.
