As a writer and a musician, it's always nice when I can find a way to combine my two professions. So, I take advantage of opportunities whenever they arise. Hence my presence here!

In brief: been playing sax since jr. high. Currently teach private lessons and gig regularly around the Central Illinois scene. I also launched a copywriting/editorial business last year and have been keeping busy wearing multiple hats associated with proofreader, project manager, newsletter editor, researcher, and journalist. For fun I began blogging (http://www.jazzwriter.blogspot.com) where I freely pontificate on the joys and frustrations of music and life in general.
