My Jazz Story
I love jazz because...I can't help it.
I was first exposed to jazz...as a kid. Used to camp and go to jazz festivals with my parents. Even before that though, my Dad's massive record collection.
I met [musician name]...Rufus Reid, Madeline Eastman, Rob McConnell, Guido Basso, Kurt Elling, Ed Bickert etc.
The best show I ever attended was...I can't say ever but most recently..Hiromi. Wow!
The first jazz record I bought was...Hubert Laws.
My advice to new listeners...anything goes. Follow your heart.
Or whatever else you have in mind.
