I love jazz because: Nothing beats the excitement of seeing great Jazz musicians performing live! I was first exposed to jazz: My dad had a box of videos that he'd taped off the TV and one of them was Miles Davis' live in germany somewhere in 1988. I met [musician name]... Most of my heroes by now! Unfortunately will never meet Miles or Stravinsky... The best show I ever attended was: Dave Binney 55 bar, 2010 The first jazz record I bought was: John Scofield "Uberjam" My advice to new listeners: Be open minded! There is some great music around be it jazz or other music.
