My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... I have spent all life by listening to jazz. It s simply my life style and the way I love to live my life. My journey of listening to music, which began in my childhood with classical music, has evolved into a passion for jazz. I first encountered jazz through film scores. My first significant encounter with jazz was during my university years, where I attended a comprehensive jazz course focusing on Pat Metheny and Miles Davis. Since then, I have gained experience as a music performer in independent, national, and international venues. Attending concerts, collecting albums, and experimenting with sound systems are my greatest interests. I met Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Ron Carter, Pharoah Sanders, Wayne Shorter, Dave Holland, Lee Konitz, Christian McBride, Kenny Garrett, Kurt Elling, Eddie Gomez, Brad Mehldau, Joshua Redman, Joe Lovano, Charles Lloyd, Jon Cristensen, Tom Harrell, David Murray, John Scofield, Abdullah İbrahim and many more. Each one of them inspire me for my admiration to jazz. The best show I ever attended was Isaiah Collier and Gonzalo Rubalcaba The first jazz record I bought was Kind of Blue and Crescent as far as I remember. My advice to new listeners... Or whatever else you have in mind.
