Brian Czach

I play and teach the drums.

About Me

“Brian is an act on his own,” says Las Vegas’ Claire Voyant. Drummer, percussionist, music director, educator, clinician, arranger, and composer, Las Vegas resident Brian Czach (pronounced “Zak”) has been wowing audiences with his exceptional musicianship performing with diverse artists such as Tony DeSare, Domenick Allen, Clint Holmes, Rick Faugno and many others. As a “tremendously talented young drummer” by the Las Vegas Sun, Brian has made a huge splash in the dry desert world of Las Vegas as Musical Director for such shows as “VINYL”, “It’s All About the Music”, and “Body & Soul”, as well as his own critically acclaimed jazz group, the Brian Czach Trio. As Las Vegas Review Journal quoted it, “With Czach as Musical Director... good jazz taste prevails”.

Born into a musical family of three generations in suburban upstate New York, Brian is already gifted drummer even at an early age. At age 9, he started taking private drum lessons and at age 11, Brian started playing professionally with the family band on weekends.

Brian attended the Ithaca College School of Music, where he got his performance degree studying with world-renowned marimba player Gordon Stout and jazz drum set with Steve Brown. Thereafter, Brian performed on cruise ships backing up a variety of headliner acts and production shows.

In November 2001, Brian made the move to New York City where he further expanded his musical experiences and skills. Subsequently, Brian reunited with his high-school friend Tony DeSare, a Telarc Recording Artist, and recorded “Want You”, “Last First Kiss”, and “Radio Show” at the famed Avatar Studio in New York City. Performing with Tony, Brian enjoyed success playing in venues such as Birdland, The Oak Room in Algonquin Hotel, NBC Rainbow Room, and Café Carlyle in New York City. Brian was also fortunate to perform Asia several times including Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong and The Blue Note in Tokyo. While living in NYC, Brian began performing with headliner singer and multi- instrumentalist Domenick Allen (Foreigner) and so began an ongoing musical relationship as his Musical Director and drummer. Performing with Mr. Allen in his shows “VINYL” and “It’s All About the Music” has given Brian vast experience in quickly rehearsing a band and performing on stage for an audience.

Since moving with his wife to Las Vegas in December 2007, Brian is pursuing even greater achievements in music. In this short time, he has shared the stage with Clint Holmes, Ronnie Foster, Terry Fator, Zowie Bowie, Lon Bronson All-Stars, and is currently performing with Rick Faugno at the Las Vegas Hilton in his critically acclaimed show “Body & Soul” for which he arranged and charted all of the music. Most recently, Brian is sought by Tony DeSare to be his Music Director when he performs as an opening act for Don Rickles. Brian’s jazz trio has also received recent accolades from the San Diego County News, “The Mandarin Oriental (Las Vegas) hit a homerun when it booked the Brian Czach Trio to perform”, in which they performed for 8 months.

When not performing, Brian spends most of his time in his home studio where he is becoming in demand as a session player, writing, arranging, and teaching drum lessons privately and online. He has a passion for education and enjoys giving back to those who are interested in the musical arts.
