My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz in NYC. Even though, as a musician, I was playing & singing mostly R&B, I feel in love with Jazz after someone took me
to
see the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band, followed by a concert with Ella Fitzgerald and Oscar Peterson. What more can I say :-)
I am blessed to have one of Florida's finest Jazz Big Band and for over 40 years; and with one of the best books (musical charts/ library).
