My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it is 20th- and 21-century _accessible_ art music. Not that I don't like contemporary classical music. But a jazz band is democratic, not top-down like the European composer-conductor-orchestra hierarchy. I studied classical guitar as a teenager, and (too many decades later) I'm now studying jazz guitar; the feeling is the same, and the feeling counts!
