Since relocating to New York in 1989, some of the musicians Bob has played with have been Kenny Wheeler, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Billy Hart, Muhal Richard Abrams, & many others.

Bob has also been a guest on NPR stations in New York City, TX. and Maine. Mr. Rodriguez was a winner of the prestigious 2007 New Works: Creation and Presentation Award, a component of the Doris Duke/Chamber Music America Jazz Ensembles Project and their New Work. As a leader Bob Rodriguez’s music can be heard on “Unseen Rain, CIMP, Cre-Op Muse, Nine Winds & Art of Life Record Labels.”
