Since relocating to New York in 1989, some of the musicians Bob has played with have been Kenny Wheeler, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Billy Hart, Muhal Richard Abrams, & many others.

Bob has performed at Birdland, The Blue Note, Sweet Rhythm, Iridium, Cornelia Street Café, the United Nations,
Kitano Hotel, Somethin’ Jazz Club, Lincoln Center, Trumpets, Cecil’s, The Priory and other jazz rooms in the New
York Metropolitan area. Bob has also been a guest on NPR stations in New York City, TX. and Maine.
Mr. Rodriguez was a winner of the prestigious 2007 New Works: Creation and Presentation Award, a component
of the Doris Duke/Chamber Music America Jazz Ensembles Project and their New Work.

My House Concert Story
I have a wonderful 7'2" August Forester grand piano in our living room with we have given house concerts, plus some recording sessions: "So In Love" Bob Rodriguez Trio with Dominic Duval on bass and Jay Rosen on drums, and "Nevica" with Jack DeSalvo on guitar, Mark Hagan on bass, and Tom Cabrera on drums to name a few.
