I love jazz because it includes the most creative and informed musicians in the world. I was first exposed to jazz in high school in jazz band. I have met and interviewed many of the world's finest jazz players and singers. They are the hardest working, most humble musicians with a great sense of humor. The best show I ever attended was Herbie Hancock and Michael Brecker with The New Standard. The first jazz record I bought was Billie Holiday.
