Bill Ward - Bio Hammond B3 Bill Ward is one of the most versatile Organ, keyboard players in the Charlotte Area.I have been playing Hammond Organ since college. Got my base “pro” experience in New York. Currently living in the Charlotte area, He has been Minister of Music , and performed as organist for many churches in the area. Also, an excellent keyboard and piano player.

My Jazz Story
Born in Houston,Texas.Played and studied classical piano thru High School.
Didn't start studying or playing until college, at Indiana University (Bloomington), studied and played Jazz with David Baker.
Studied Jazz organ with Leon Spencer. Played some gigs in NY with Melvin Sparks, in Harlem.
Played Hammond Organ thru college. Played Organ for several churches
and various Jazz venues in New York. Now residing in the Charlotte, NC area.
Still playing Gospel and Jazz!
