William Mentz is a seasoned vocalist with a voice that exudes Soul and Emotion.
He has performed thousands of shows all over the World. In the last thirty years,
William has performed from Boston to San Francisco and
everywhere in between. Taipei, Paris, and the Caribbean Islands have also
been backdrops for his concerts, always leaving audiences longing for more.
Fans of all ages recognize William as a master singer, storyteller and entertainer.
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it understands me. It knows just what I need and when I need it. The same song can tell a 1,000 stories.
I met and hung out with Kurt Elling early this year before one of his Bay Area shows. Kurt is one of the best vocalists on the
planet and a cool, chill cat. It's always nice to finally meet one of your heroes and find him/her to be what you hoped they'd be.
My advice to new listeners... Don't over complicate it. If you're new to the genre, take it for face value. It's a form of music and
it's not for everyone. But, if it's for you, you'll know.
