NY LI and Metro area saxophonist. Performs regularly as a freelance musician. Has played on Lionel Hampton's big band as well as performances with Dizzy Gillespie w/Lionel Hampton band.Also has performed with Foghat, Johnny Maestro, Christian vocalist Kathy Troccoli as well as NY artists Pamela Betti band, Jim Moran,Killer Joe That 70's band , West Avenue Jazz , The Something Special Big Band and many more.
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because... It's very creative and played from the heart and soul of the performer.
I was first exposed to jazz... By my father when I was an infant who is a jazz musician and jazz educator
I met Lionel Hampton when I was about 10 yrs. old my uncle was his manager and producer. My dad performed on alto and Tenor sax with him. I later performed with Lionel when I was an adult. with Lionel I got to perform with Dizzy Gillespie. I also had met the late and great Michael Brecker and his brother Randy Brecker.
