NMA Jazz Artist of the Year!

About Me

Barbara Mantini is a powerful and versatile vocalist, actor, vocal coach and voice director with a professional career spanning over 30 years, regularly appearing on stage in theatres, jazz clubs and music festivals. In March 2020, Barbara released her debut vocal jazz CD, “Maybe Someday” featuring original songs as well as jazz covers. She is the recipient of an NMA “Jazz Artist of the Year” award/ Along with her sisters Sandra, and Ann, Barbara is also a member of the singing group “The Mantini Sisters”, who have performed across Canada and the United States. As a voice over artist, Barbara has been featured in animated cartoons including “The Busy World of Richard Scarry”, “Rupert”, and “Babar-The Movie”. As an actor, she has worked for professional theatre companies like Drayton Entertainment, Victoria Playhouse Petrolia, and The Charlottetown Festival. As well, Barbara is a freelance voice director for ECW press and Deylan Audio and an instructor in the Acting for Film and Digital Media Program at Niagara College of Canada. Barbara’s wish is to reach the heart of her audience through her passion for singing and the magic of song.
