About Me

I’m a Jazz aficionado from early in my life. I was exposed to Big Band/Swing, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and the Rat Pack at an early age. I founded the FREE GRandJazzFest presented by DTE Foundation in 2012. On August 17 and 18, 2019 we will host the 8th FREE GRandJazzFest presented by DTE Foundation at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.

My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz as child by my father. He loved Big Band Swing and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. I’m a fan of many jazz genres.
