Thank God my parents and extended family had taste in music. I was surrounded by jazz exclusively from as early as I recall. Nothing has changed except my passion for the music has increased with time.

My Jazz Story
By virtue of its very nature, jazz requires not only the ultimate level of musicianship but for all senses to be on point to better execute the music. The best jazz musicians far surpass the technical facility of musicians in other genres. No matter what sub-genre of jazz is being performed the music must swing. If it doesn't swing, have grit, groove, or whatever you want to call it, it will ultimately disappoint.
