My Jazz Story

I love jazz because I love the sound of surprise I was first exposed to jazz by listening to Offerings by Larry Coryell I met Herb Ellis, Pat Martino, Larry Coryell, Bobby Watson. The best show I ever attended was Bill Frisell Trio at the Vancouver JazzFest The first jazz record I bought was Offerings by Larry Coryell My advice to new listeners...follow the musical lines as if it were a narrative or a poem. I have been performing and recording improvisational guitar-based music since 1986.
