Angela Shawn-Chi Lu is a writer and composer.
Over the last decade, Angela Lu has worked as a writer, researcher and/or editor for various publications including Los Angeles Magazine, MTV News, ArtSlant, The Deli Magazine, 20 trade magazines, Venus Zine and The Daily Bruin. Currently, she freelances and is working on longer works of nonfiction and fiction. Also a lifelong musician, she has composed, studied and performed everything from classical piano to the blues, jazz and experimental rock on electric guitar, traditional Chinese music on the pipa and erhu, and electronic music.
