a fresh, new voice in Bossa Nova
Andrea moved to the U.S. in 2000. Trained as an architect, she began performing with O Som Do Jazz, with the encouragement of her jazz musician husband David, in 2004. Unlike many “whispery” bossa nova singers, Andrea has a strong voice and a natural understanding of this music. In her debut recording (Infinita Bossa), Andrea has caught the attention of bossa nova lovers worldwide.
