My Jazz Story
I love jazz because... it's the only true American music.
I was first exposed to jazz... Early in life, but really began to love it about 10 years ago.when I
watched the movie "Paris Blues."
I met [musician name]... Kristin Korb, Jeff Hamilton, Bruce Forman, Buddy Guy (blues I know).
And several other greats.
The best jazz show I ever attended was... Kristin Korb trio at Alva's in Redondo Beach in May
2013.
The first jazz record I bought was... Django Reinhardt
My advice to new listeners... Open up and enjoy the music. Lose yourself and be amazed.
