About Me

I have been a professional recording and touring drummer since the early 1970's. Pete Cosey, Gary Bartz, Roy Ayers, Eldee Young, Mighty Joe Young, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Eddie Henderson, Arturo Sandoval and Joe Battan are some of the international jazz and blues artists I've recorded and/or performed with.

I have also written and produced TV documentaries and series on jazz and rhythm that aired on PBS and Bravo. Presently, I gig regionally and produce indie CDs. I'm also preparing for my first recording as a leader. Warmer climes are calling me as well!
