Album Description
Part 4 of 5 from What...is. There are three tunes: Who is... which is a solo excursion utilizing 3 different loops manipulated and interacted with in real time. After I got done with the performance, it occurred to me there was a coincidental nod to Pete Townshend and Terry Riley...Wonder if you will hear it, as it's very subtle. Love The Who! Gone Doe La is an acoustic version of a tune first performed by my band Monkeyworks, a tune I've always liked with a Eurocentric vibe. The Variant Express which was the impetus to actually do a solo project during Covid. This was instigated by Barry Chabala and co-written by Steve Peckman, as I was fortunate to get almost all of my Monkeyworks fellas to play, albeit remotely due to the pandemic.
