Album Description
There are three tunes here, the first called Trapped, which is comprised of three loops which I sorta DJ in real time their balance and "solo" with the chase bliss Blooper. The other two loops are via two Digital Pro Echoplex loopers, and Glou-Glou Loupe. Ali Ali Oxen Free is a duet with extraordinary perc./drummer, Dave Anthony in dedication to the late great Ali Farka Toure. 5 Drummers Walk Into A Bar is a wacky tune I've been wanting to do for a long time. It features Alan Camlet and Dave Anthony on drums for a drumming conversation supported by Steve DjTadpole Meltzer on frame drum, Bill Weisbach on metals, and Tom Nazziola on udu drum and mallets. All of these fellas are amazing! Also on this tune is the ever-present anchor of the low end, Kevin Brown on acoustic bass, and my favorite solo on the entire recording, Jeff Eldredge on Steinway piano!
