Multi-faceted guitarist Colin Sapp has carved a distinct new sound by fusing elements of jazz, funk, rock, and electronic music into a unique, improvisational approach. Originally from Flint, Michigan, Colin came to Boston seven years ago to study at Berklee College of Music. There he studied with some of today's most innovative modern guitarists, most notably Wayne Krantz, Dave Fiuczynski, Mick Goodrick, Jon Damian and Tim Miller. He began carving a distinct compositional style, yielding a volume of original material that has translated into powerful, high energy, and emotive performances. Sapp makes his first return back to the Berklee area Saturday, March 18, 2006 with his jazz/jungle quartet Infinite Out, bringing listeners Awareness in many forms.
