Month-Long Jazz Appreciation Ends With Grand Finale Concert & Celebration
April is marked as Jazz Appreciation Month and kjazz 88.1 FM will be celebrating it at Hollywood & Highland Center with an afternoon of finger-snappin', toe-tappin' and hip-swingin' jazz music. On Sunday, April 30th, from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., kjazz 88.1FM radio will be presenting three hot jazz groups: Cal State Long Beach Jazz Ensemble, Ron Eschete Trio and Jose Rizo's Jazz On The Latin Side. They will be in concert to close-out their month-long jazz festival and to present a preview of Hollywood & Highland's Summer Wine and Jazz Concert Series beginning in June. Performances will be held in Central Courtyard of the center.
Throughout the month of April, kjazz 88.1FM radio will be commemorating the art and love of jazz music with various soul-stirring musical events. These events will benefit multiple music programs in Los Angeles schools.
