Gary Lucas has put his 2003 summer tour hat on the Ebay auction block (alongside memorabilia from Patti Smith, Trent Reznor, Ry Cooder, Coldplay, Radiohead, Devendra Banhart, New Order, Frank Gehry, Robert Rauschenberg, Alec Baldwin, Randy Newman, Cindy Sherman, The Offspring, William Wegman, Robin Williams, Bill Maher, Peaches, Melissa Etheridge, and many others) as part of People for the American Way's 4th annual auction, Auction for the American Way.
