We recently launched version 2 of the Jazz Near You app. It's vastly improved and is now compatible with Android and iOS—and it even runs on a Kindle Fire. We want to make sure your events look their absolute best in the app, so please make sure you've added a thumbnail image to your musician profile. The same image appears in the Jazz Near You app. If you don't have a thumbnail image at All About Jazz, then the app presents your event with the AAJ logo as a substitute which can be easily passed over when a user is scrolling through a list of events. So grab their attention by adding your thumbnail image to your musician profile, so we can present it in the app.

To keep it simple, just use your Facebook or Twitter thumbnail image.
To update your thumbnail image, sign into All About Jazz, then go to your musician profile and click the “Update" button. If it's been awhile since you visited AAJ, go to musicians.allaboutjazz.com and search by your name (by clicking the magnifying glass icon). And while you're at it, please make sure your profile is current and complete. We made some recent improvements one of which makes adding YouTube videos a breeze.
