Aberto is the fourth recording by Brazilian group O Som Do Jazz, based in the Tampa Bay area. On the Isospin Lab label, the title means “open” in Portuguese. With members from Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico and the U.S., the group has been performing for over fifteen years in Florida and has backed visiting Brazilian artists in concerts including Diego Figueiredo, Antonio Adolfo, Jovino Santos Neto and Francois de Lima.
