This and That: November 2024
Every so often we highlight a useful feature that we think you might've missed, and today we'd like to revisit All About Jazz's personal concert calendar feature. In a nutshell, the personal concert calendar helps you track shows and get reminders for concerts you're interested in. You can learn more about this handy feature here and if you're an active or even an occasional concertgoer, we encourage you to try it. I first started using the personal concert calendar in 2018 and what I love most is it archives every show I've attended which makes for a fun trip down concert memory lane. Try it and let me know what you think.

Recent Improvements
All About Jazz is an active website where improvements occur daily. Here are our user-facing updates from the last month:- All private messages over four years old were deleted from the database. Our initial clean-up effort resulted in the removal of 400,000 messages.
- Speaking of, members can now access Sent Messages from their Private Messages page.
- We added a "by city" option to our article and news searches.
- We improved our blog section in anticipation of expansion. We also introduced a new blog entitled Jazz BBQ by Scott Shrewsberry.
- We added published article totals by year to our Staff Directory page and our filter staff by style preference page.
- We removed all links to Twitter (from our member, musician, venue, festival, etc. pages and forms).
- We created a tips page for those looking to advertise.
Created Not Curated
We'd like to thank 32 Bar Blues for their excellent taste in apparel and... media quotes.
