It was all about crooning and swooning this weekend as Vancouver singer Michael Buble topped the 32nd Juno Awards, Canada's music honors, with four trophies, while teen YouTube phenom Justin Bieber -- shut out of his three nominations -- caused fan pandemonium.

Seven statues were handed out on Sunday at a ceremony broadcast on CTV, featuring several live performances, while 32 Junos were bestowed at a non-televised gala dinner on Saturday night, both held in the fog-bound east coast city of St. John's, Newfoundland.

Buble picked up the people's choice award, single of the year ("Haven't Met You Yet"), as well as album of the year and pop album of the year for his fourth studio effort, “Crazy Love," which spent two weeks at the No. 1 spot on U.S. and Canadian charts last year.

Toronto rapper Drake, former star of TV's “Degrassi: The Next Generation" whose debut disc “Thank Me Later" is set for release this June, nabbed trophies for new artist and rap recording ("So Far Gone") and joined Beiber on stage for an acoustic rendition of “Baby."

Somali-born, Toronto-based K'naan was named artist of the year and songwriter of the year; his anthem “Wavin' Flag" has become a rallying cry for Haitian relief efforts.

Toronto rockers Metric were also double winners with group of the year and alternative album ("Fantasies") awards.

Veteran rocker Bryan Adams was given the Allan Waters humanitarian award to honor his charity work on behalf of breast cancer research and Ethiopian famine relief; he accepted his award via satellite from London, unable to travel due to the volcanic ash that has grounded most flights.

Legendary Halifax rockers April Wine were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
