CHEMBO CORNIEL LATIN JAZZ QUINTET CD Release Party
Featuring Chembo Corniel (percussion), Ivan Renta (tenor sax), Elio Villafranca (piano), Carlo Derosa (acoustic bass), Vince Cherico (drums) Latin rhythms with Jazz roots reflect Chembos complex technique, style, and wealth of knowledge in the folkloric, Latin and jazz idioms.

STEVEN KROON SEXTET
Featuring Steven Kroon (congas & percussion), Adam Perez (piano), Waldo Chevez (bass), Bryan Carrott (vibraphone), Craig Rivers (sax & flute), Alex Garcia (drums) The sultry jazz Latin style of master percussionist Steven Kroon has captivated audiences for over half a century. Kroon has lent his remarkable percussive skills to hundreds of recordings in the Latin jazz, pop, R&B and jazz genres as well as in concert settings around the world. Experience the Sextets hot and energetic Harlem Latin Jazz sound.

LATIN JAZZ ALL STARS
Featuring a stellar cast of musicians: Grammy-winning Brian Lynch (trumpet), Little Johnny Rivero (conga), Willie Martinez (drums), Hans Glawischnig (bass), Peter Branin (saxophones), John Di Martino (pianist, musical director) Combining rhythms from African and Latin American countries with jazz and classical harmonies, these six masters will light your fire.

August 21st and 22nd at 8:00pm & 10:00pm
TRIBUTE TO RAY BARRETTO
Featuring the super-talented artists: Special Guest Steve Turre (trombone), Chembo Corniel (conga) Vince Cherico (drums), Boris Kozlov (bass), Peter Branin (saxophones) Paying homage to the Grammy winning Latin jazz giant Ray Barretto often called the godfather of Latin jazz, these accomplished musicians infuse new energy into his big sound.

August 28th and 29th at 8:00pm & 10:00pm
DR. MAMBO & EXPERIENCE ENSEMBLE
Featuring Dwight Brewster (keyboards), Bill Jacobs (vibes/percussion), Alex Blake (bass), Neil Clarke (percussion), KC Benjamin (alto saxophone), Chacho Ramirez (drums/percussion) Experience good, solid Tropical Caribbean Jazz music featuring the best African Caribbean Jazz musicians New York has to offer, and rhythms from around the world .
