Join the Shuffle Demons and the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival on Canada Day at Nathan Phillips Square and help set a new Guinness World Record for the largest saxophone ensemble. Regardless of skill level or age all saxophonists are welcome.

In 2008, Taiwan challenged the Shuffle Demon's 2004 record of 900 saxophonists by 18. Show that patriotism at 5 p.m. on July 1 as the Shuffle Demon's try to bring their world record back home, playing a five minute rendition of O Canada. Registration is free and available online at torontojazz.com; participants can also register on the day of the event starting at 12 p.m. at Nathan Phillips Square.

Please note, ONLY SAXOPHONES will be participating in this world record breaking attempt. The Shuffle Demon's celebrate their 25th anniversary this summer with a special reunion tour across Canada. The 23rd edition of the TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival swings its way into summer, running June 26 to July 5, 2009.
