For the first time since they blew the lid off modern jazz on Bitches Brew with Miles Davis, CHICK COREA and JOHN McLAUGHLIN reunite now in their own group: the stunning electro-acoustic quintet FIVE PEACE BAND.

Corea, an enduring master of acoustic and electric pianoand guitar virtuoso McLaughlin led two of the most seismic jazz-rock bands of the '70s: Corea's RETURN TO FOREVER and McLaughlin's MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA . With the Five Peace Band they give a nod in Miles' direction, and explore the outer reaches of plugged-in and un-plugged jazz.

“The sound was familiar - that irresistible driving funk, capable of rising to ecstatic heights. Everything they played...was touched with the same magic." --The Daily Telegraph ( London )

From Corea and McLaughlin's playful duets to intense five-way interplay on complex material, there's no substitute for hearing this unprecedented band live.
