Google recently announced it will be shutting down its Google Notebook service. There are some other Google tools that can handle some aspects of Notebook, such as Google Bookmarks, the notes feature in Google Reader or even the new to-do and tasks lists in GMail. Unfortunately, however, none of the related tools quite cover the all of the same ground Google Notebook did.
Luckily for Notebook fans, all is not lost. There are in fact several worthy Notebook successors out there on the web, and some of Notebook's competitors have stepped up to offer single-click import tools for your existing Google Notebook items.
