These finalists represent pluralities of votes awarded to nominees by 90 full-fledged members of the Jazz Journalists Association. In the case of certain categories, there are more than five nominees -- representing ties.

The finalist ballot will be made available for voting by members of the Jazz Journalists Association only, online at www.Jazzhouse.org. Winners will be announced at a cocktail/supper party awards event at B. B. King's Blues Club and Grill, 245 W. 42nd St., on Tuesday, June 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. Reservations for JJA members, Jazz Awards nominees, jazz industry supporters and the general public can be made at www.JazzJournalistsAwards.com.

Tickets for the Jazz Awards cost $75; nominees and JJA members get one ticket free, and may pay $20 for one additional ticket. JJA members and nominees must reserve these event tickets in advance.
