Habib Faye is a bassist, composer and producer from Senegal. Mostly know for his work as the musical director for Youssou N'Dour's Super Etoile de Dakar, Habib Faye has worked with many great artists. His credit list extends with names like Peter Gabriel, Sting, Mark Knopfler, Bruce Springsteen and recent Grammy Award winner Angelique Kidjo!
Habib Faye currently plays on a De Gier Origin Custom four string bass with Bartolini pickups, during the tour with Angelique Kidjo. Although it has only four strings this bass is very versatile and matches the demanding playing style of this wonderful bassist.
