The day's events will culminate in a spectacular concert that will feature Berklee's finest woodwind faculty plus guest artists.

The Joe Viola Memorial Concert takes place at 8:15 p.m. at the wheelchair-accessible Berklee Performance Center, 130 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. Tickets are $5 for the general public -- $2 for seniors -- and are available at the Berklee Performance Center Box Office, 617-747-2261.

When Joe Viola retired as chair of Berklee's Woodwind Department in 1985, the trustees of the college created an endowed scholarship fund in his honor. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Joe Viola Endowed Scholarship fund, to make it possible for more students to study at Berklee.
